Channel 7 HD

Post by pjc3 » Sun Jun 01, 2008 10:43

I went to record Narnia Chronicles for the kids on 7HD (has been advertised as High Definition) via Ice. Went to the BW sometime later to find Criminal Minds at 8.30 on 7HD - the movie is only aired for 1 hr. The 7 website says it is the movie, Ice says it is Criminal Minds. This is in Regional QLD. Will just have to wait I suppose and see who is right. I will fire up the HTPC (3rd tuner) to record the SD channel just in case.

ICE for me (in Sydney mind you) shows that as starting 7.30pm tonight running for 3 hours. I saw adverts for it last night a few times too. Obviously it won't run for an hour, so something is messed up with your data. Do you use the Widget, I am using that at the moment to verfiy this.

My Ice Remote Widget & Ice EPG both show Narnia starting at 7.30pm and going for an hour also on 7HD tonight. 7SD however is correct showing 3 hours for the movie.

Theres been a few wrong programs shown on 7HD ICE for regional areas with the main one being M.A.S.H. at 5pm on 7HD every weekday when its not on at all (Townsville). I rang Ice about it and they didnt realise, so if its an Ice problem please ring and let them know.

thanks xnikx for confirming. I'm sure it is an Ice problem but it doesn't help if you set your timers from Ice Interactive. I have set a manual timer on the BW on the SD channel and overwriten the channel to the HD one. Backed up on the PC in case.
Thanks
Philip
