News paper Guide useless , EPG on Beyonwiz & Panasonic & Ice TV -shows correct information
The Minister of War not impressed because she she has gotten used to planning weeks viewing ahead by way of Newspaper Guide ,and if she misses out on programs blames me or beyonwiz. She hasn't got the the time to daily plan.
Tried to explain that whilst TV Networks are paying games we are all going to suffer.
Does anybody know of Weekly HD&SD Guide
Not a Whinge against Beyonwiz, as out of the Box the best PVR I Have Bought.

Thanks Gully - Been there and it solves daily problem but Weekly in advance it does not.
Minister of War must be placated especially If She Pays the Bills. If at All possible.
Thanks for your prompt response , but I'm sure you know where I'm coming from.
Possibly at the moment it is in the 2 hard basket.
Not Beyonwiz - Media Australia ie: 2,SBS,7,9,10. or there other commercial decisions or power plays that we are not aware of.

I noticed on the 7HD part of the EPG that ICETV state 'coming soon'. So I guess that means that their guide is 'coming soon'.gmax wrote:Thanks Gully - Been there and it solves daily problem but Weekly in advance it does not.

Gmax,
I know it's been a few days, but I hope it will still help.
For our weekly scheduling we use TV Week guide. It costs $3.70 in any newsagent/supermarket and even though it useless for last minute changes that the networks sometimes implement, between the Wiz (which can detect these changes) and the weekly guide our household is pretty much covered.
The guide now shows both SD and HD programming.

Hi gmax, I changed the title of this topic because, as you say, it's not a whinge against Beyonwiz (but the title made it seem like it was).gmax wrote:Not a Whinge against Beyonwiz, as out of the Box the best PVR I Have Bought.

If they can release their 7HD guide just 2 weeks after the 7HD launch then they should already have released their 10HD guide by now...Vortical wrote:Coming soon = Mid January (According to IceTV staff)NPR wrote:I noticed on the 7HD part of the EPG that ICETV state 'coming soon'.
