New 10 HD doesn't work
New 10 HD doesn't work
Has anyone else had issues with this since it started? I'm in springwood, queensland, and since they've switched over I get nothing but a black screen for all of 10's channels now.

Hi WetWired,
Regards,
Ian.
Have you tried doing a channel rescan for the new Channel 10 layout?WetWired wrote:Has anyone else had issues with this since it started? I'm in springwood, queensland, and since they've switched over I get nothing but a black screen for all of 10's channels now.

Sounds more like you have borderline reception issues, or their transmitter is in low power mode due to maintenance (this kind of thing happens, you may have to call them to check).
Are you receiving it on VHF11? Is your antenna a digital ready one (some roll off at VHF10, so may start to get dodgy for VHF11=Ten Digital and VHF12=ABC digital).
Springwood is far enough away from Brisbane that you may be getting it from a UHF repeater, or have you actually tried scanning the UHF frequency instead? Perhaps when you press "10" or "1" it is getting the poor reception frequency and not the good one, delete all occurrences of Tens various LCNs and scan the correct frequency only (by doing a partial scan).
You can check the correct frequency etc on http://www.dba.org.au/index.asp?sectionID=22
