SBS EPG Missing from Wed 3 January 2018 (Canberra - Black Mountain)

Has anyone else noticed that the SBS channels have a blank EPG from 5am 3 January?
I just did a tuner rescan and an EPG refresh and it's still blank.
Have I missed an announcement or something?
My aerial is pointed at Black Mountain, Canberra and I have a Beyonwiz T3.

Same here in Mel yesterday, thought the T2 was playing up but checked and EPGRefresh ran OK

The FTA EPG?

In Canberra (Black Mountain transmitters), I'm also seeing a blank SBS FTA EPG from 05:00 Wed 3 Jan, except for NITV, which seems to be complete out to 11:00 Tue 9 Jan.

The IceTV EPG for SBS in Canberra seems fine.

I called SBS and selected the option for Transmission Services, and when that was picked up, I got a recorded message saying that they were on holiday until Thu 4 Jan. I then tried the option for program feedback in the hope of talking to someone who might care, even if it's not really their department, but they're on holiday until Tue 2 Jan.

I suspect that it's a systemic problem.

The SBS online guide for the ACT seems to be OK.

I'll try contacting SBS again tomorrow if the problem persists. Otherwise I think it may just be a matter of whether someone inside SBS notices and has the ability to do something about it, or tells someone who has.

No problem. It may well get fixed by SBS anyway. If it does, all that needs to be done is to select an SBS channel for live TV for a minute or so.

The SBS EPG situation has improved somewhat since yesterday. In Canberra I'm seeing the full EPG out to about 11:00 Wed 10 Jan for SBS ONE, SBS ONE HD, Food Network and NITV. All the SBS radio services have EPG out to 12:00 Wed 10 Jan. The EPG for SBS VICELAND and SBS VICELAND HD runs out at 05:00 Wed 3 Jan.

I rang SBS Audience Technical Support and got a recorded message saying they will be back on board tomorrow Wed 3 Jan.

I rang SBS audience complaints, and the first time I got "Your call is important to us..." a couple of times, and then it was switched through to ring tone, and rang, and rang, and rang and I eventually gave up. I tried a second time and after ringing and ringing and ringing, I got the recorded message "Due to increased demand your call could not be completed at this time. Please try again later."

I have emailed Audience Technical Support ATS ATS@sbs.com.au about the problem. Perhaps some other people could try, too.

The SBS EPG guide seems to be missing all data for SBS VICELAND and SBS VICELAND HD from 05:00 Wed 3 Jan. The other SBS TV and radio services appear to have normal EPG information.

At about this time yesterday (Mon 1 Jan), of the SBS TV services, only NITV had full EPG data. The other TV service's EPG data stopped at 05:00 Wed 3 Jan.

I have seen this problem in the Canberra Black Mountain SBS EPG data today on a Beyonwiz T4 PVR and on a Digitel Digital TV. Other Beyonwiz users have reported (http://beyonwiz.com.au/forum/viewtopic. ... 33#p160433) on the Beyonwiz user's forum seeing the same problem yesterday 1 Jan in Melbourne and Perth on their Beyonwiz PVRs. I don't have any information for today from the forum about the SBS EPG in places other than Canberra.

I got an automated reply saying:

The Audience Technical Support service will be closed for the holiday season from Friday 22 December 2017 to Friday 5 January 2018 included.

The service will resume on Monday 8 January 2018.

At this point, I decided SBS wasn't worth trying to talk to.

Just checked mine and still missing till I changed to SBS. I guess the update must have happened after EPGRefresh had run in the early hours of this morning.

How hard is this? I now have no SBS VICELAND HD EPG at all, and no SBS VICELAND EPG past 05:00 Thu 4 Jan.

I tried calling SBS Transmission Services, and at least this time I didn't get the recorded "we're not here" message. But it rang, and rang, and rang and then I got the "Due to increased demand your call could not be completed at this time. Please try again later." message.

Here in Sydney, I currently see EPG for all SBS services (including radio) except LCN 31 Viceland HD. There's no Now/Next either.

A year later and it seems to be the same issue, for me at least. No SBS epg beyond 5am Thursday 3 January (NITV excepted). I’m in Sydney. I plan to wait for SBS engineers to return to work, refreshed and full of Christmas cheer and goodwill, and fix the issue.

Yesterday (Wed) at 13:00 AWST, my U4 booted for its regular provider scanning, and shortly after that scan the AutoTimer plugin ran and scheduled new SBS timers for this evening. Nothing for SBS was generated at the earlier 09:00 run of the same.

They are slowly getting it updated up our way. Early this morning SBS HD was dragging the chain (up to Fri 04-Jan 4:30am time slot) but it is now up to Sat 05-Jan 4:30am time slot, whereas SBS Viceland HD is now up to Fri 11-Jan 10:30am time slot.

Work experience kids obviously doing the SBS HD EPG. Or they are getting mesmerised by the upcoming slow travel train & canal boat documentaries.

What is really stupid, is the epg for SBS hd (in sydney) updated an extra 2 days (from yesterday). Why not update the whole week??

I see the Perth market now has SBS ONE HD events up to Sat 12 January Italian News 07:30-08:10
