7Flix Perth gone crazy tonight?

Post by MrQuade » Wed Oct 26, 2016 23:38

Anyone else in Perth setting some funky EPG behaviour on 7Flix tonight?

The FTA guide correctly says that "Snow White and the Huntsman" is on.
The IceTV guide says that "Forrest Gump" is on.
The EIT now/next data is saying that "Henry Hugglemonster" is on and I think it has been saying that for most of the day (since 8:30 perhaps?).

Is Seven in the process of another change at the moment?

Hi MrQuade,

Seven Melbourne often has EPG issues with 7HD though I doubt this issue is related.

Is this a single event issue or something more major? When I note significant issues with the EPG in Melbourne I let my contact in 7 Engineering know and they quickly sort it out. If this is a significant error (lots of shows being incorrect or shown at the wrong times) then I suggest you contact your local 7 Engineering Department and let them know.

Regards,
Ian.

I am fairly sure that now/next has been dead all day. IceTV is frequently incorrect due to last minute scheduling changes, but I haven't been watching long enough to know how many events are affected this evening.

Yep. One of my TVs has no now/next FTA 7flix data at all, whilst the other has Henry Hugglemonster @ 08:29 (but if I then select next it has Snow White And The Huntsman). It looks like Henry is hanging in there :)

And still is going on now to his second day!

Impressive! Someone must have fallen asleep at Channel 7 I reckon.

Yeah, weird, as this morning I checked our Samsung TV and it was okay for now/next on 7flix.
Our older Panasonic wasn't showing anything for 7flix n/n. I checked it a bit later and it was okay. This was prior to 08:30
Seeing your post, I checked both again. Samsung is showing Henry Hugglemonster as 'now' and I Dream of Jeanie (whish is on now) as 'next'; whilst the Panasonic still has nothing for n/n (but a working EPG). Seems to get stuck on Henry Hugglemonster :)
