Two DP-S1 units - Only one downloads scheduled recordings

Post by pellajl » Wed Apr 06, 2011 21:05

Hi,

I have two DP-S1 units. Both download the EPG from IceTV without any issue.

However, one unit will not download scheduled recording nor will it upload schedule information of scheduled recording initiated on the unit itself.

I have tried the following:
1. IceTV test from the DP-S1 setup menu - Test OK
2. Deleted the device on IceTV and redefine it - No change

Both units have been upgraded to 1.05.350. The issue was present before the upgrade.

Anyone have any suggestions on how this can be fixed?

Regards

John

I didn't realise that recordings set on the PVR would be 'seen' by IceTV and display on their web page.
Is this what one of your S1's does?

Have you given them unique names?

Have you tried deleting both devices in ice and build 2 new ones and point the two wizes to the two new devices?

It's been like that for as long as I've used IceTV for (nearly four years). Including on my S1, when I had one. Recordings set from the Beyonwiz have never interfered with the operation of IceTV, except in ways that could be anticipated (like setting a manual timer on the Beyonwiz when IceTV will later try to set two more overlapping timers).

Tony,

I have only deleted the devices which was giving me trouble and then redefined it. Still didn't work.

I may have to do what you have suggested. I may also do a factory reset on the suspect unit.

IceTV stated that they haven't seen any errors in their log files.
