Scheduled Tasks Fetch Only Daily not 30 Mins

Anyone know why my Beyonwiz with 01.05.334 firmware only seems to perform a fetch every 24 hours and not every half hour or so? It seems to fall into a pattern at 3:28pm and lock onto that time for every day. Even if I manually fetch the data at say 5pm, the next day it'll do it at 3:28pm and each day thereafter. It's getting quite annoying.

Have you looked at the status window in SETUP>Network>IceTV? Does it do a 30-minute countdown after a forced fetch? When it gets to the end of the countdown, what happens?

Are you sending new events in after 3.30 and not noticing them show up till the next day? (Otherwise how else would you know it isn't getting events till the next day?)
Did you know that ICE only sends timer entries about 5 days ahead, and the rest show up as donuts in their scheduler (they do this as both the EPG may not have loaded at the time, and also the schedule can be a bit dynamic the further out from the current date it is).

So you won't get items you schedule, say, 6 days ahead show up in the Wiz until the following day, it may well be this that is making you believe it is only once a day?

Sorry guys, I've gotten confused with the EPG fetch, done daily, and the Sceduled Task Fetch, which should be done half hourly. I've tested it with a new task to record and it did pick it up so it seems i'm looking at just the EPG fetch.

I know about the donuts and the 5 days etc.

The EPG fetch is done hourly, not daily, but as it isn't all that dynamic, the first time it does a fetch, you won't notice much difference an hour later when it does the next fetch.
