Does the V2 remote come apart? My LEFT button is stuck.

Every remote comes apart – some are more difficult than others though. Sorry couldn’t help that. :)

I don’t know the answer in regards to the V2 remote, but my guess would be yes.

The DP-S1 & DP-P1 remotes come apart fairly easy. I wonder if the V2 remote comes apart similar to those or the T3 remote. In this topic IanB posted with photos about taking apart the T3 remote which may give you some idea.

Peteru gave some info with photos about opening the BR-02 remote beginning in this post.

And there is some good advice in this topic once you get it open.

If you open the battery compartment of the V2 remote and take out the batteries, there's a small screw in the middle of the compartment.

Once that's out, it looks like you can prise the two halves of the shall apart, starting below the battery compartment, but I haven't tried completing that task. I don't want to provoke the remote unnecessarily.

The V2 remote is much thinner than the one that comes with the T2 or U4 which may make opening it more challenging. It strikes me as not being particularly sturdy - not that I use it all that much.

It just popped apart, apparently (Dad did it). Working again, now.

Happened again, this time EXIT & BACK were getting stuck. No one else seems to have reported it, so maybe it's just the initial batch that have problems (my test unit is the in-use one).
