I don't know if it will work on every file …
In my post here I posted: “I tried renaming the extension of one of the topped edited test files to .mpg from .ts to see what happens. Well the U4 played it from its own HDD until I skipped forward. It then got massive picture tearing/video breakup, much worse than the cheap & nasty Beyonwiz mini USB tuner gets on our T2.”
I only tried it on the one .ts recording, but on the one I tried it wasn’t successful. Perhaps it works on some & not on others.
