How can you update the EPG when there is no connection?

I saw this morning that the epg wasn't populated so I tried the connection test and was told that 3 of the 5 had failed.

I went back to the epg,selected 1 channel from each provider and pressed OK. I then went back to epg and found that everything was filled in for entire week.

I'm puzzled because if I didn't have a connection how did the most recent data arrive?

I now have to find out why by connection still says its down.

How do you get your EPG data? Is it from free-to-air transmission or third party service such as IceTV (only the latter would require an internet connection - assuming that is wha you meant by connection.

If you are an IceTV user, as noted in several other posts on the Forum, there was a server issue on Friday that caused multiple issues. You should have received email from IceTV outlining how to solve the problem.

There was also a problem with connections to the IceTV servers last night. There's some discussion of it here:
