Recording being viewed stops and reverts to Directory

Hello.

I have an annoying problem with recordings being viewed stopping just before the end of the recording.

The whole show is in the USB, but just before the end of the recording it stops and reverts to the Directory.

The whole show is there, because with a lot of fiddling I can watch it to the end. Also there seems to be a little green marker in the recording progress playline which is where it stops.

Can anyone please help with this?

When you copied the recording to USB, did you also copy the associated .ap and .sc files? These contain indexing information that is required for smoother file navigation.

Are these playback issues with recordings made on your V2, or are they recordings from your DP-S1/DP-Lite that you're now viewing on the V2?

These are recordings made on V2 and DP-S1, which I then edit (eliminating adds) using VideoReDo.

Right-o then, you need to download the "reconstructapsc" plugin.
Then try running the "reconstructapsc" plugin over one of the recalcitrant recordings - from the media selection list, select the edited recording, press MENU, select the "Reconstruct AP/SC ..." entry and press OK. The plugin will create the required .ap and .sc files needed for smooth playback.

Sorry to Hijack your post.
I have an issue with playing back files on my V2 firmware 19.3.20211010.
The issue happens when i'm trying to playback a recording that is in progress on my T4 firmware 19.3.20211010.
i have no antenna connected to my V2 so sometimes i just play over network. it stops and goes back to the media list and resumes when i reselect it.
i am usually 10 mins behind the live tv.
Should this be possible to do or am i asking too much. Completed recordings are ok.

This is pretty much what I used to see if I tried to play a recording in progress over my network - the playback stopped wherever the recording device was at when playback started. Restarting updated the pointer to the current recording end position.

Haven't experienced it in a while because I rarely do this anymore. Usually wait a lot longer (watch something else) so I never experience it now.
