IP Control of V2
Hi All,
Strangely the Tech Support Desk has asked me to ask this question on the Forums.
I would like to control the Beyonwiz V2 via network TCP / UDP commands. Does anyone have a Protocol documentation on this? They did send me an IR Command Documentation, but it does not include any RS232 or IP commands. There are topics on this forum regarding IP Control for T4, but I would like a V2 specific doc so I'm not chasing my tail with incorrect info. RS232 would also suffice if possible.
Thx,
Matt.

Re: IP Control of V2
There is a URL-based interface to the Beyonwiz firmware (all T/U/V models). It's used by the OpenWebif interface and the Beyonwiz control app and is the same for all models (so what you see about T4s, for example, will be the same as for V2s).
The documentation for it isn't great, but what there is is at:
https://dream.reichholf.net/wiki/Enigma2:WebInterface
https://dream.reichholf.net/e2web/
https://github.com/E2OpenPlugins/e2open ... umentation
You may be able to dig up more from google searches like "openwebif xml".
The interface can return either XML (e.g. http://beyonwizv2/web/about) or JSON (e.g. http://beyonwizv2/api/about).
Much of the firmware development for these Beyonwiz models is done by people on the forum. The main source repository for the Beyonwiz firmware is https://bitbucket.org/beyonwiz/easy-ui-4/
