No sound on the IPad app

Hi all, I have just set up my new T4 and downloaded the app for my IPad. When watching live TV on the app the picture is fine but no sound. I can't find any setting to fix it. Can anybody shed light on the matter? Cheers

A friend of mine had the same issue and after he uograded to the latest firmware he tried again and the app had sound. He wasn't sure if the two were related but he definitely had a similar issue to you and seem to fix it doing a firmware upgrade.
What firmware version are you running.

Firmware on the T4? I checked for software update and it said it was up to date. How do I check the firmware?

MENU>Setup>Information>About>Last Upgrade.

Is the side switch configured for mute or rotation lock ? It might be muted. Easily overlooked and no amount of adjusting volume will fix.

I got caught as other video apps don't mute with mute switch the volume control seems to be independent. And that's what I'm used to. When I put on the WizOS app this wasn't the case, it was muted and I had no reason to think of that right away, so I thought it was broken
