No channel logos displayed in Favourites bouquet
No channel logos displayed in Favourites bouquet
In both the iOS and Android apps, when looking at TV Guide->Terrestrial TV LCN and Last Scanned bouquets, the channel logos display as expected. However, in the Favourites (TV) bouquet, only the channel names appear, not the logos. Is this expected behaviour?
Re: No channel logos displayed in Favourites bouquet
No, that's not expected behaviour.

Re: No channel logos displayed in Favourites bouquet
IIRC, the channel picons shown in the app are handled entirely in the app, and work (or don't work) independently of whether picons work in the PVR. So it's not entirely unexpected behaviour. That's not to say that it's desirable behaviourMrQuade wrote:No, that's not expected behaviour.
Stevebow, what region are you in? It could be that the PVR has picons set up for that region and the app doesn't.

That wouldn't explain why they *do* show up in the Terrestrial TV LCN bouquet, which would be the superset of channels.prl wrote: Stevebow, what region are you in? It could be that the PVR has picons set up for that region and the app doesn't.

Re: No channel logos displayed in Favourites bouquet
I'm in Sydney, but I believe I know what the problem is. I have renamed each channel to include the LCN eg. ABC -> 21 - ABC, GEM -> 90 - GEM etc. If I add another bouquet and add channels with the original names, the logos are good. So it appears the iOS/Android apps are no longer displaying logos when the channel names are changed.prl wrote:Stevebow, what region are you in? I don't know how the app identifies channel picons. The PVR identifies them independently of channel name.
