Unable to connect to WIZos after blackout

Post by tyreless » Wed Aug 29, 2018 18:34

I used to be able to connect to WIZoz but now the app says it is unable to connect. We had a blackout and I suspect something changed.

IP address of Beyonwiz is reserved and hasn't changed after the blackout (192.169.0.6).

I can still connect using openwebif using the same address.

I have tried rebooting everything.

Using ipad and iphone app. Router is Telstra supplied (further details on request if needed).

What should I try next?
Cheers,

Hi Tyreless,

Is the 192.169.0.6 address correct? I would have thought it should be 192.168.0.6. That is the 169 should be 168. If you have the wrong value in the phone that that would account for the issue.

Regards,
Ian.

Check the WizOS settings for the IP address of the T2.
Check the same settings for the 'Network name' the app is using.
The same thing often happens to me.

Just an update. I have been unsuccessful in getting Wizos to work on my ipad. However, I have found a Wizos "clone" called GigaBlue that works, so I’ll stick with that for the time being. Same settings as Wizos.
