T4 set up for WiFi.

Post by Swanny » Mon Aug 06, 2018 20:25

T4 updated and high Sierra. I can connect the iMac to the T4 by Ethernet. I can play my movies so this is good. Well brilliant.
But
I cannot connect my iPad using Wizoz app.
I also cannot connect by WiFi with my MacBook Pro 17 with high Sierra.

I suspect that I have to set up the T4 so I can connect by WiFi. This used to happen automatically as per the YouTube demo.

A pointer in the right direction would be a good start.

Hopefully

The should be no truck to connecting to the T4 via wifi if the T4 is hooked up via Ethernet. As long as the wifi access point is connected to the same LAN segment as the T4 then it should be completely transparent.

My first guess would be if you have connected your MacBook to a guest, Internet-only wifi ssid.
