WizOs remote playback
Has anyone figured out a way to remotely view your recordings from outside your home network?
My Panasonic PVR did this immediately via plug and play and was very useful.

The most secure method is to use a VPN.
Hamachi or SoftEther work well.
It isn't recommended to expose the Wiz directly to the internet with port forwarding.

Re: WizOs remote playback
Would you be able to provide specific instructions on how to set this up?
Re: WizOs remote playback
It depends entirely on what great you have.
First of all, does your internet router have a VPN server capability? What make/model?
If no capability there, do you have a smart NAS device that may be able to host the VPN?
What device(s) do you want to use to view the movies remotely?

I found a reasonably comprehensive product sheet for the TG799vac on the Website of what I think is a Swedish ISP (the product sheet is in English, though): https://www.telia.se/dam/jcr:c130efb3-7 ... _Telia.pdf.Flyingbushpig wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2017 11:11...

It mentions dynDNS capability, but I can't find any mention of VPN.

Re: WizOs remote playback
In recent times my Android WIZOS app is no longer able to access my T3 remotely. The same iOs app is fine. I port forward through a Telstra Technicolor modem router. The other remote functionality, cameras, retic still works OK. Ive done the basic usual fault finding. Ie reinstall, changing ports, different phones. Anyone with the same issue?
