Settings to access remotely

Post by Ukind » Sun May 21, 2017 13:48

I had this working well a while back and I was able to access my T4 when I was away from home. I am not sure if something has changed but I can no longer access it away from home but at home it works fine.

I have an ASUS DSL-AC68U router which is bridged to a Telstra Gateway Max. The port for the T4 is 192.168.1.236 and port 80 is open. I am also using an "asuscomm.com" DDNS.

Previously on the T4 I went to Menu/Network/DYN-DNS then selected System as "dyndns@dyndns.org". I entered my username & password for .asuscomm.com & all seemed to work fine. I could set timers & view the guide when away from home.

Now if I try to do this I cannot get it to work. In the system log it tells me that I need to update my IP address. Can anyone offer me any suggestions as to how I can get this to work again?

There is probably a simple fix but I can't seem to be able to get it working. Thanks in advance for any help
