iOS app no sound

New T4 replacing venerable S1. Lots of stuff to learn but up and running OK. Got the Wizos app for ipad 4, which is working all bar the minor detail of no sound... Looked at the suggestions here to no avail. Deleted and reinstalled app. Rebooted T4. No success. Vlc player does render sound, so it looks like it may be an app issue.

I do note that the T4 has the update date of 20160101 which suggests it may be beta.

Any ideas or suggestions of where to look?

OK, so I've solved the issue. ipad has a "beep" mute as well as a sound level. Some sound gets delivered as audio and some as the beep steam.

In my case the beep was muted whilst sound was not, hence Vlc worked and Wizos did not. Go figure...

For other who may strike this, drag the control panel up from the bottom of the screen and check that the bell with the line through it is grey not white.

Thank you! I couldn't work out why I had no sound from the app. This has fixed it.

thanks it solved my problem too.
makes me wonder what will happen now that i have turned beep mute off
will it beep at me in the middle of the night now?
