75" KD-75X9500H Full Array LED 4K Android TV

Not concerned with sound system as I have my own 7.1 speaker setup and amps.

Mainly the vision and how well old material as well as the latest looks - some of the new 4K, to my eyes, don't do a very good job on old B/W movies.

Can't really provide much of an argument with a high-end TV like that one picture-wise.
Sony's use of android TV makes them excellent smart devices.

From a quick poke around though, it looks like its support for HDMI 2.1 is limited to eARC functionality.
This is good news if you have a eARC enabled receiver!

Without HDMI 2.1, you will not have access to 4K120Hz HDR, or full 4:4:4 chroma 4K HDR with 10/12 bit colour.
it also won't allow you to enable any variable refresh rate modes.

This won't be a big deal unless you plan to run your PC, or a game console on the TV though. If you just plan to watch 4K video content, then this is plenty enough. If those features do factor in, then ironically, the X9000 series apparently does have a more complete HDMI 2.1 functionality.

Not sure I can add much other than to say I have the version of this from 2 years ago and I have been very happy with it.
