Sony Bravia KLV-26S200A26" Analog tuner LCD TV.

Bought Nov 2006.

Good condition. Remote not used much. Still have manual.

Analog tuner only. Must be used with digital STB or PVR, or with other external inputs.

Nominally 720p (actual screen size 1366x768)
Maximum input resolution 1080i. No 1080p or higher input. 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i available.
LCD screen, fluorescent tube backlight.

I think most people expect better than 1366x768 resolution for monitors these days. Also, the screen is always upright, which isn't really great as a PC monitor.

Would work OK for me. My wife's monitor is an ex-caravan TV that stopped receiving remote inputs. It's on a non-tilt arm in the bookroom (can't call it library, but it's where all our books are). 1366x768, but it's only 19", so you wouldn't notice FHD difference anyway. I've offered her an upgrade, actually buying a new one, but she says it's fine. I still have a 4:3 monitor attached to running PC! Remote access though.

I ran a 26" Philips TV as a PC monitor for many years, also bolt upright on a non-tilt stand. It expired about a year ago and I replaced it with a more "modern" Philips PC monitor which while it tilts and has a quite nice screen, and can be connected by HDMI even, the built-in speakers make an atrocious tinny noise compared to my old TV. I miss that audio, the sort of quality that consumers would have come to expect from built-in speakers in a TV.
