IceTV Timers and FTA EPG

Post by gibster » Sat Jul 17, 2021 12:46

Hi;

I'm wondering if there is anyway to use the Free to Air EPG and still have IceTV set the timers on a V2. I know I could setup Autotimers, but IceTV is so reliable. I also notice the FTA's EPG populates every channel not just the ones IceTV decides to send program data for. That is the main reason for the question.

I realize this is probably wishful thinking on my part without a major IceTV app update if that were even possible.

Cheers

Gib

There is an update to IceTV that I made for the OpenATV version that allows you to have the IceTV EPG for channels that have IceTV EPG data and fill other channels from the FTA EPG. Would that do what you want?

It's probably going to be a while to get the merge of the OpenATV changes into Beyonwiz done, though.

That would be great, exactly what I'd like to see.

I only post it once in a subject, that's why I paste it in. I used to just have it added every time, but when it's gets as long as mine it's a space waster to have it added to every response. :)
