Changing recorders

Post by TORB » Fri Mar 13, 2020 05:24

I currently have a T4 and have just purchased a V2.

Once the T2 is set up the way I would like it, I plan to stop using the old T4 to record programs and will do all the recording on the new T2. Is there a way I can get ICE TV to stream directly to the new T2 without having to reenter all my series recordings?
Cheers

Register your new device with IceTV. Then in your IceTV account Web pages, go to My Account>My Recorders, click on the "Copy timers to new recorder" tab and follow the instructions. This is how you'd do it even for non-Beyonwiz devices.

Don't copy your settings from the T4 to the V2 (e.g. don't restore the T4's settings on the V2), especially not the settings for IceTV.

No problem.

Once the T4's recordings have been copied to the T2 and are working, you can get rid of the T4's recordings just by deleting the T4's IceTV device.
