Unable to resend timers.

Post by grampus » Mon Apr 24, 2017 09:13

I am having a problem resending all my timers using the Ice web function "resend all etc"
Although I have done this a number of times.
My week shows no change in my status on the timers.
Some have been sent, some still are doughnuts

I have sent off a support request to Ice. But thought I would canvass it here, in case somone else is seeing the problem.

I did a resend all yesterday after a USB upgrade and it was fine.

Do you see any timer creation messages in the IceTV log?

I might have to rethink it all.
All my timers shown on the website are now solid, except Next sunday. Ive lost sight of when I would expect them to be sent.

The log showed a number of timers updated.

The IceTV plugin was having issues yesterday before I went out at lunch time. It was unable to read the IceTV channel list and was timing out.
Anything I had added manually on the T2 was getting through to the website and appeared there and in the android app.
It was working for all devices when I checked a few hours later.

They should be sent for a span of 6 days (including the current day). Some SBS and ABC timers were sent ahead of that, but that was a bug on the server side, fixed recently.

I'm seeing all times set out to Saturday, and anomalously, Grantchester (ABC HD 20:30 Sun). The other two timers on Sunday haven't been sent, even though one of them is also ABC HD and earlier in the day than Grantchester.

But the Grantchester one is strange, because although it's showing as sent to the Beyonwiz, there isn't a timer on the Beyonwiz, and the Web entry in My Week says that "This show recorded successfully on device devname". Perhaps Gully has been messing abut with my timeline ;)

Yes, I had that, too, and it's been discussed in this setcion on the Beyonwiz forum and on the IceTV forum. Daniel Hall at IceTV posted last night that he had fixed it, and would monitor. I've had 5 successful regular IceTV updates on my test T4 since I started it at about 09:20 this morning.

Curiouser and curiouser...

I've posted in the IceTV forum about my Grantchester recording entry that thinks that it's already recorded next Sunday's episode.
