OpenWebIf not on new phone?

Post by Confused » Wed Feb 13, 2019 11:44

I can reach OpenWebIf directly from a shortcut on my android tablet & I'm starting to explore its features. So far the only thing I don't see on it that's on the B/W app is a remote control or a user guide as to what it can do. Is there one?

Am I correct is assuming that OpenWebIf will only work on devices that are using Linux?

I have just gotten a new Android phone & i try to reach the same page all I get is the error message which I have attached & don't know what it means & how to fix it.

If this posting is in the wrong discussion group please move it if necessary.

Thank you

OpenWebIf is on your Beyonwiz and accessed through any web browser on any operating system.

From the look of the screenshot you are using the wrong IP address as that won't be your internal LAN addressing.

OpenWebIf does give you a remote control. You will see this if you visit it from a desktop.

The mobile version of OpenWebIf lacks a lot of features. You can choose to view the full desktop OpenWebIf on a mobile device, but some of the links are a bit fiddly to operate without the benefit of a mouse.
