Hi, I just got a T2 today,
I hooked it up to my Sony TV (X8500D) .
When I switched over to the t2, the screen blanks out for 5-10s every few seconds. Plus there's no sound.
So far I've tried, but with no success
- another HDMI cable
- another HDMI port
- Change HDMI input (on TV) from Enhanced -> Standard
- Disconnected all other HDMI devices
- On T2 in AV, tried all the refresh rates, resolution rates,
I've restarted both TV & T2 box.
Update: I borrowed a cheapie TV and plugged it in and the picture works fine (but the audio doesn't - any ideas on how to change the audio out on the T2?).
SO I guess the Sony & T2 aren't compatiable?
Anyone have any ideas?

Re: T2 screen blanking out
To save a little time, there's some prior discussion of kingchris's problem in Beyonwiz T2 blanking out in the Whirlpool PVR forum.

Re: T2 screen blanking out
Given that you've tried all the common things and are still not getting audio with a second TV I'd say you have a dud T2.
You should probably contact Beyonwiz to see about an exchange unit.
This thread describes a similar issue with a new T2. There may have been a bad batch.
