All these files
For each recorded show i have about 5 files. What are these extra files & can they be deleted without losing any functionality.

You shouldn't normally see these files. Are you looking at your recordings through the Sources menu. The best place is to use Media button. Or are you accessing the T3 through your network, in which case you will see all of the files.

Yep. Looking via network. Experimented @ no downside to deleting them. They get regenerated anyway.

The extra files contain the metadata, i.e. your cutlist and bookmarks, the EIT program title and guide info, etc.

If you delete the files that do not end in .ts, you will lose some functionality, but not the main contents of the recording. If you delete the .ts file, then the rest of the files become effectively useless.denebarry@gmail.com wrote:can they be deleted without losing any functionality.
