Settings for VLC and other programs

I am trying to setup VLC to recieve streaming movies from my new Beyonwiz T3 unit.

VLC should work without setup. Will need a little more info. Are you trying this from a MacOs or PC? Are you using the OpenWebIf via a browser? Im able to stream recordings and live tv from the T3 to my PC and Macbook Air using VLC without issue (needs a quality wifi connection). For the iPad I use VU+ (vlc not required) and on the android Dreamdroid (using vlc).
