T4 - 10-Bit playback?

I ran into a slight problem when transcoding H265 material to H264 for my T4. The original material is 10-bit deep, so I left the H264 encoding settings at that - only to find, after much of the day transcoding various movies, that they would not play at all!

After a little investigation, it was the 10-bit setting. Transcoding to 8-bit is fine, as you would expect.

There doesn't seem to be much mention of this other than Mr. Quade discovered this too, back in Jan. 2016: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10055&p=135048&hil ... it#p135048

Is this a limitation of the SoC's mpeg decoder?

Yep, no High profile support on my AVC codecs on any model (High profile required for 10 bits in AVC).
