I've only tried the U4, but will give it a got on the V2 later.

Are they likely to be able to played on a U4, or is that never going to be possible?

I've not encountered aomedia video 1 before, and Googling reveals that it is relatively recent, developed as a high compression alternative to H265, and unplayable in Windows 10 without installation of AV1 Video Extension available from the Microsoft store. I guess that its playability in a U4 or V2 would depend on installation of something similar for Enigma2. I gave no idea if that has been mooted or even if it is possible.

I tried my V2, that didn't play them either.

Have been able to re-encode the video as H264 with ffmpeg.
