delay after stop

Post by NedIS » Tue Sep 23, 2014 19:44

Has anyone else noticed since last upgrade that there is a bit of a delay after pressing stop and movie list appearing after watching recording?

Yes, it does that.

I suspect that is an artefact of the fix that keeps the sound in sync when you pause a movie.

The multiple second delay on pressing stop started happening in the earlier betas that fixed up the usb tuner issues.

That was a while ago for you tezza, so you have probably gotten used to it.

Takes mine less than one second from pressing stop to displaying the movie list. The one that pisses me off still, is the delay from exiting the movie list to showing live TV

That's the price you pay for letting your HDD spin down. You have to wait for it to spin up again.
