T3 play MP4

HI all

Does the T3 play mp4's. I have an S1 and it always plays up when playing MP4's

It depends on what is in the MP4 file. In general, yes, they play, but it really depends on the codec and settings used for the content.

thanks for that

most are set at mpeg4. Should they be AVC /H.264

Post a mediainfo log of a troublesome file. I generally put my mp4 files in a mkv container using MkvMergeGui for more reliable navigation. No re encoding involved.

So can convert my Mp4's to MKV using this program and then it will work ok

It's worth a try with one of your difficult mp4's MkvMergeGui will only take about 3 or 4 minutes to do a full length movie ( depends on how fast your PC is of course ).

More important whenever you have a problem with any video or audio file always post a Mediainfo log ( text mode) as the information will make it a lot easier to work out the problem. E&OE !

Sorry but I don't know what a Mediainfo log is

He's not the only thick one, I thought it was a plugin [which there is] and I couldn't find out how to work it :oops:
