That's so old you won't actually be able to restore from backup, anyway.

I guess if it's working for you there's no real need to upgrade, but if you do run into problems putting the latest version on will be the first suggestion. Many improvements have been made, so it probably would be worthwhile.

I have installed but I am stuck at the first setup screen being the Time zone, its defaulted to Australia but how do I tell it "ok"

i tried pressing the power button

The remote is half broken and I am waiting on a spare from Nasa electronics

putting new batteries in the existing remote helped and i could hit OK to move through items. I see you also need a working remote to upgrade your firmware

I did a full scan on my tv channels after setting the city and it seems I have been missing some channels all this time. Also VICE SBS now works.

This is with beyonwiz-19.3-beyonwizt4-20211010_usb installed.

The only thing I wasnt sure of, I set the internet options on being Use Interface and Use DCHP set to on, the last message prior to finishing setup was "Online updates are available" or some such message.

I ignored that. Since the beyonwiz.com domain has gone, are we meant to not use such menus and anyway isnt beyonwiz-19.3-beyonwizt4-20211010_usb the latest regardless?

Yes, with the feeds gone there won't be any more updates. I've made an unofficial feed for some packages (IMDb in particular).

If the picons are up to date, the correct logos will be shown for channels in the infobar, the favourites list and in the EPG, in most parts of Australia.

It's a fairly small package, and there's not really any reason not to update it.
