V2 Not Playing the Last Part of Recordings

Recently, I have noticed that my V2 stops playing back recordings when it gets to about 30 seconds before the end. Not surprisingly, this has caused a little frustration.

With these recordings, I have transferred the original ts files from the V2 to the PC where I have removed the ads and trimmed the footage using VideoRedo before sending them back to the V2.

For the last two files with this problem, I have transferred them back to the PC where I can confirm that the file still contains the unseen footage.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this please? It is a process I have been doing for years, but only noticed the playback issue recently.

You might try to recreate the ap/sc files on the Wiz itself.

Seeing as these have been manipulated by a third party program, the .ts meta-information might be mis-aligned.

Since you can't download the "reconstructapsc" plugin any more due to the feeds being down, you can try running the command manually

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/createapscfiles <filename>

There are some handy batch files in this thread for running over multiple files if you prefer.

Wow, that seems to work! I have tried it on the two files I was testing and I can now view the entire (edited) recording.

While this is a little inconvenient, I appreciate the info. Odd that it has only started happening recently.

I also looked at the VideoReDo website for clues but found that the owner of that business passed away last year so the software has reached a dead end.

I had the same issue a while back viewtopic.php?f=47&t=15109 , when I have time I'll try that on the V2.

I downloaded a copy back in December 2022. I've added ".zip" to the filename in case Sucuri rejects it. Delete the .zip before attempting to install.
