Re: new remote, old one not working, how to change remotes??
If your U4 is networked, you can use the on-screen remote in OpenWebif to change the remote code settings. If you can't see the TV screen from your computer, if you set the "Capture screenshot" tickbox under the remote, it will give you a screenshot after each "press" of the onscreen buttons.
You should be able to do the settings just using the minimal default on-screen remote. You can get a full image of the remote, with all its buttons available, by clicking on the diagonal double arrow icon at the top of the on-screen remote (its tooltip text is "Show full remote").

Hi wozzzzza ,
May I ask when you purchased the above remote?
My U4 remote is also dying with several buttons that no longer work. I would be happy enough to buy the above replacement remote but there are a number of posts here saying that they aren't getting any response from Beyonwiz AU and I don't want to pay for something via their website that I may never get.
Cheers

Yeah I bought an additional remote for my V2 (me and the missus don't share too well) but the power button seems faulty, continuously fires.
Tried to do a warranty claim and never heard a thing. I was probably sold a warranty return
I bought a Sofabaton multi remote. Been happy with it, not as 'snappy' as the original but it's easy to set up and use.
Thanks,
Rob
