Time shift settings

Post by TORB » Thu Jan 19, 2023 14:30

When ever there is a power failure or I have to restart my V2, when I try to record there is an error message saying the disk is full.Last time this happened (I think) I empty the trash and then went into Settings/TV/Recording settings and reset the Default Movie Location to media/usb/movie./ and that (I think) fixes the problem.

The issue is now that I cant do pause direct TV, or go back etc.

Timer recording location is set to media/usb/timeshift
Instant recording location is movie.usb/movie.

I have tried a few settings but can't get it to work.

Suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers

You'd also need to ensure that the timeshift directory is pointed at the USB drive too. Timeshift is separate from the recording folders and is what is required to pause and rewind live TV.

I don't know why your settings would be forgotten between reboots or power loss though. That shouldn't happen.
