Trash - All movies?
Trash - All movies?
Hello all,
Just curious about the setting > "Remove items from trash after x days"?
I understand it applies to recorded TV programmes. But what about movies I have copied from my PC and dropped into 'Movies' folder?
These movies maybe .mp4 or .avi for example.
Does this setting apply to all movies in movie list irrespective of their origin? Or only recorded TV shows ie .ts files?

Re: Trash - All movies?
It applies to everything in the trash but you seem to be talking about files in your movies folder which isn't the trash folder so not the same unless you delete them first through the Beyonwiz interface, eg Red button.

Re: Trash - All movies?
As per Gully's advice.
The setting is "remove items *from* trash" not "move items *to* trash".
So for anything to be "removed" you will have had to have manually deleted it first (deleting things just moves them to the trash folder, a sort of recording purgatory).
The "days since" part is measured from the time that the item was moved into trash.

Re: Trash - All movies?
I can see my post was maybe a little confusing.
I was referring to movies I had copied in 'movies' folder and then subsequently deleted.
Are they treated the same as a recorded TV programme?
It seems they are.
Thanks for the quick replies.
