New tuner works but doesn't display live TV
New tuner works but doesn't display live TV
I have just received delivery of a replacement 3RD tuner for my T2. I assumed that all I had to do was to turn machine of then plug in replacement USB tuner & turn machine machine back on again. This I did & it booted up and did an autotimer update.
Once finished I noticed that the TV screen was blank. I pressed the EPG and all of channels in my favorites bouquet were displayed. But when I went back to TV every channel was blank. No picture displayed on any channel.
I did the check and found that the new tuner was being picked up and reported under sources. The only other thing I noticed when I went and looked at every channel was that some stations had a different logo than what it had before, there is even one with the Beyonwiz logo normally seen then you do a reboot.
What did I do wrong & why no live TV?

I put in old tuner again and as expected it didn't work. So I went back to the new again and this this time it worked. I have no idea what has or didn't happen unless the new tuner was a second hand one that was a bit dodgy.

More likely the USB tuner was started in one of the non-terrestrial modes (DVB-C, DVB-S, or DVB-S2). It needs to be in DVB-T or DVB-T2 mode. A GUI restart will normally sort that out if encountered.

Are you using the third tuner as your primary live tv tuner? If not, the it sounds like your Tuner A is unplugged at the moment.
Are all your antenna connections secure?

I would not know how to unplug the inbuilt tuners.

I meant the antenna cable. Is the antenna cable plugged into tuner A? (And either looped our split into tuner b)

... and also into the USB tuner. The USB tuner should be connected to the antenna (either direct or as a pass-through), and of course to the USB port
