CAN'T MOVE FILES
CAN'T MOVE FILES
hi
I use windows 7
I can't move files from my lite i to my computer on a network, but they will go to another computer on the same network no matter what I do or what setting I change. I have managed to setup the lite i to find and play files from the D drive, but can't write to it could someone please give me a step by step guide as I've spent a week getting the lite i to network at all.
Cheers and thanks for any and all replies. Madmick[/b]

Hi Madmick,
Welcome!
A Short Guide To Using WizFX...
If you are using the Beyonwiz UI to do the transfer then you need to ensure that the Beyonwiz has a valid username, password and workgroup defined in the SETUP screens that matches an account on your computer. The account on the Beyonwiz must be available on the PC and be granted appropriate write access to your computer, the folders and files you wish to access. Please note that "GUEST" access is *not* good enough to allow the Beyonwiz to *write* to the PC. This configuration has been discussed and explained a few times in the Networking area of this forum.
Regards,
Ian.
