T4 Harmony remote issue
T4 Harmony remote issue
New T4 user here - refugee from the TIVO camp.
I'm still wading my way through a few teething issues and finding the learning curve steepish, but rewarding.
One that has me stumped is that I've programmed the T4 into a Harmony one remote and when I turn on the T4 and the TV (Panasonic DX 900) using the remote, the OSD is on screen. This is the screen showing Terrestrial TV LCN/ Last Scanned/Favourites, which of course comes up when you press the "TV" button down near the bottom of the original remote. The T4 turns on normally without displaying that OSD when I use the original remote.
It's simple enough to press exit, but I'd prefer to find a fix if possible. Other users, especially Mrs M, are used to the fuss-free TIVO and don't like added complication like having to exit an OSD whenever the TV and T4 are turned on together using the Harmony One.
Any advice gratefully received.

Re: T4 Harmony remote issue
Welcome.
Sounds like you might have set an input on the Harmony for the T4 which is unnecessary.
If not, post or review your Harmony settings.
As this is about remotes/accessories, I have moved it to a more appropriate area of the forum.

Re: T4 Harmony remote issue
Fantastic! Thank you.
It was an issue with inputs on the T4. Removing the ones listed and adding "None" seems to have solved the problem.
One more issue solved.................but still a few more to wade through .
