T4 Remote Is Defective

I'm about to order my 4th T4 remote. My 3rd one has lasted less than 3 months. New or recharged batteries make a difference for less than a day. There seems to be an inbuilt defect

I think that's a good idea anyway. That or a good activity-based universal remote.

I've gotten to like the T4 remote, though I have a T3 remote also. Somewhere
I've also got an expensive Logitech, but I don't like it

Have the T3 and it is working fine so far. I use new batteries every time.

With a new T4 remote, new or old batteries make no difference. The defect seems to build over time
