OpenSkin Designer
OpenSkin Designer
OpenSkin Designer is an enigma2 skinning tool, based on e2skinner. I've made some improvements, so it should be a bit more useful (at least as a viewer, if not an editor).

Re: OpenSkin Designer
Thanks for finding (and fixing) this!
It's something I've wanted to have for ages. I hate editing skins by hand!
What is it like on not changing parts of the XMK file that haven't been changed by the edits? Is it likely to it make git diffs almost useless?
Will you be submitting your fixes back to the source repository?

Re: OpenSkin Designer
Hi Adoxa,
I looked at version 3.0 but didn't feel comfortable with it. I will check out your version 3.1.
EDIT: I don't know what you changed but I think I am faster editing a skin in a text editor. This still doesn't work well with OverlayHD. Thanks for your efforts in any case.
Regards,
Ian.

Re: OpenSkin Designer
Yeah, the designer still needs a bit of work; I was after more of a visualiser.
It's entirely reformatted (saved however XmlDocument wants to), so yeah, I'm afraid so.
Wasn't planning to, given the complete lack of activity. Will you be submitting your fixes back to the source repository?

Re: OpenSkin Designer
OK, thanks.
I know that the first save of a skin file will make a huge mess of the git diff, but what about subsequent ones? Will it rearrange the XML of things that haven't changed?

Doesn't look like it.
