Firmware 20140505 Bugs

Post by Orf » Tue May 06, 2014 22:13

I have been running the new software and it seems to fix the OK problems as advertised.
However, one bug has shown up. In EPG pressing the CH up advances the days one at a time. Pressing the down key work correctly except for being unable to return to the current day - it stops at tomorrow. Looks like a programmer's counting error.

Hi, a suggestion, I think we should have an official bug reporting for each firmware.

Anyway, one bug I have noticedbis when I'm using the number pad keys to fast forward and etc, is that I loose audio. I then do a little bit of rewinding to get audio back.

Development and hard work is the answer ;)

That is already in place as per the topic viewtopic.php?f=47&t=7637

But madmax's computer blew up so he hasn't been able to add the 20140505 topic.

This is something that madmax did for the DP series, for a good number of years.

For which everyone should be grateful.

Can anyone confirm this bug?

P.S. I've taken the lazy option of editing the old firmware topic to be the new firmware topic, since there was very little in that topic and not much has changed in this new firmware.
