A user on the Whirlpool forum has noticed that in firmware 20211010 the setting MENU>Setup>System>Front panel settings>Display state while running seems to have no effect. I can replicate the problem, but the UI code (as far as it goes) seems to be doing the right thing.
Is this a known problem?
