BUG: Media playback issues with U4 Automatic resolution

I have noticed some strange behaviour in the media player when Automatic resolution is configured on the U4.

I have my U4 set to output at 2160p50 for all FTA services.
The U4 will switch to 2160p60 for all 30 and 60Hz source material, and will switch to 1080p24 for any 24Hz source material.

If I open media player and attempt to play back a 720p24 media file, playback will work properly.
When playback starts, the resolution switches from 2160p50 to 1080p24 properly.
Audio begins playing, but there is no video.
If I press OK, the Infobar is displayed, but the progress indicator remains stuck at 0s with a blank video image despite the audio progressing normally.
If I PAUSE then PLAY, I don't get any video, but audio pauses and resumes.
If I execute a skip forward, the progress indicator updates, and video kicks in. The file will continue to play back normally.

If I then press STOP, the media playback will stop, and live TV resumes, but the media player GUI is not displayed.
At this point, I will sometimes see a stopped spinner image.
If I press any button, such as UP or DOWN, the GUI will then be displayed as normal.


I have tried a variety of resolutions and framerates, but the effect is the same.
eg. I set my FTA resolution to 1080p50, and my 720p24 media resolution to be 1080p60
The same effects are observed.

I have tried changing the auto resolution delay time to no effect.

If I disable auto resolution altogether, then I do not see this effect.

This bug is not present on the T series.
