In regard to the option of "use a custom location"

What is meant by a "custom location".
When setting up an Auto Timer or Timer what exactly does "yes or no" mean in regard to the option of "use a custom location"

"Custom location" is the destination directory for a recording made by that timer.

If you enable the "Use a custom location" option in an autotimer, it will record to the "Custom location" instead of the default recording directory.
If you leave it disabled, then the timer will send the recording(s) to the default recording directory.

You can use the option, for example, to record all episodes of a series to a directory for that series.
