Is ShootYourScreen working?

Hi,

T4 on beta 20190718

I’ve downloaded the ShootYourScreen plugin, but I can’t get it to work. Either the plugin isn’t working, or I’m not using it correctly (most likely the latter).

I’ve tried switching Help and long Help, but no go. There’s no notification when Help (or long Help) is pressed, and no screenshot found in /media/hdd.

Just wondering if someone who uses this plugin could please check to see if it’s working, especially someone on the 19.3 beta firmware.

Below screenshots were taken with the plugin on a T4 on 20190802. Resultant screenshots were written to screenshots sub-directory of specified directory path.

Hmmm, I have the same settings as you, but just keep getting the actual help screen (long or short press) rather than a screen capture. I’ll try it again tomorrow after work.

Have you restarted the UI?

Yep, that must have been all it was.

I didn’t restart after installing the plugin because I’d installed it the day before trying it, and as I have the box set to go to Deep Standby each night I assumed it had had a restart. However, sometimes the box doesn’t shut down, especially if it’s recording when due to shutdown. I’d say this is what must have happened, as ShootYourScreen is working today
