T2 Internet Connection Flaky
T2 Internet Connection Flaky
My T2 reports a good WiFi Network connection but - 90% of the time - no Internet connection
I'm a long-time Beyonwiz fan. I've just retired my two DP S1s for two T2s.
My T2 has all the boxes checked for my Wi-Fi Network connection (except 'IP Address' & 'Nameserver' are sometimes unconfirmed).
In 'Information' > 'Network' - 'Link is always lit green - 'Internet' lights up green only occasionally.
The internet connection is occasionally achieved by re-saving all the network settings, not by changing them.
'Information' > 'Network' shows the following:
Link quality 100/100
Bitrate 130 Mbs
Signal Strength 50 dBm
My Wi-Fi, which works perfectly for many other devices is a (Netgear AirCard 782S) Telstra Wi-Fi 4G Advanced.
The Beyonwiz T2 shows up as a connected device in my modem's Management Console.
Beyonwiz Support have been unable to help resolve the issue.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Marcus

Re: T2 Internet Connection Flaky
Hi, MarcInOz. Welcome to the forum.
Put the T2's WiFi dongle on a USB cable and put the dongle somewhere it get's a better "view" of the WiFi router signal?
I'll also move the topic to the T series networking area, where it's a bit more appropriate (even though the heading only says T3/T4).

Re: T2 Internet Connection Flaky
Thanks Peter. Placing the Wi-Fi dongle & router inches from one another hasn't done the trick.
I'll keep hoping some network wizard may have a brainwave. Marcus

Re: T2 Internet Connection Flaky
Hi Marcus,
Can you check/test the connectivity with a wired connection to isolate that this may or may not be WiFi related?
Regards,
Ian.
