Connecting T3 to QNAP NAS using Samba

Post by vk5kdc » Tue Mar 31, 2015 14:42

Hi,

I have read many of the post regarding networking but am getting more confused.
My T3 has an Image - 4.4
Kernel 3.6.0

My menu shows Menu/Setup with 2 options only, Power & Information

Holding down the Media button remote does not show the Nas as being available.
The NAS has Samba server running and is available on my PC.
The T3 is available on the PC.

My question is how do I get to the network setup and configure sambato talk to the NAS.

Thanks.

If you press "OK" when the "heading" of the Setup menu is highlighted, it will take you to all of the settings, including the network setup.

Power and Information are just two other options under the column of options that includes "Setup".

Hi,

Thanks, I just never thought to press OK on the heading. All works now.
