DLNA activation

Post by Swanny » Fri Jan 22, 2021 19:32

Not sure of the right words here.
I have two T4s. On one the DLNA has been set up and I can access the movies that I have recorded with the VLC app on my iPad. It comes up as "mini DLNA' with a penguin icon
The other T4 has not got the DLNA activated. so I am unable to access the movies.

I would be grateful if I could be pointed to the right area in the settings to activate the DLNA on the second T4
There does not appear to be any topic on the subject in the search.
All else very good.

That's because we usually turn DLNA off. We generally prefer to use a network connection instead. But to turn it on, Menu >>Setup >>Network >>DLNA server. Press GREEN.

Edit: Note that DLNA is on by default so it isn't necessary to change that setting normally.
